Stockton University Monument Solar Lighting Upgrade

Highland Resource Group was contracted to provide an off-grid solution to illuminate the monument sign at Stockton University’s campus in Galloway, NJ. Due to electrical service limitations, the project required a creative approach to ensure adequate power supply to keep the sign illuminated through the night.

HRG designed a 200-Watt Photovoltaic Fixture to be installed behind the sign, shielded from view. The fixture harvests solar power and directly supplies electricity to the four 5-Watt LED Floodlights. The 200-Watt system is able to provide upwards of 80 hours of power with a single charge, ensuring the sign will stay well-lit even through consecutive cloudy or rainy days.
